We just did Disneyland the week after Thanksgiving. Great tip to go when the kids should be in school and also the tip about packing for every type of weather (we didn’t believe the rain forecast and were wringing the water out of our socks the first day).

We were there, too! 12/29-1/5! And it. Was. Bananas! We did NYE fireworks at MK on 12/30 (they did two nights). It has drizzled all day. But I danced the night away with my friends while my husband took baby back to resort. Then we did Epcot fireworks on NYE…at 6:40! We were so grateful. That park reached 85k!! We really didn’t have fun because of all the people. But the rest of the days were great!!! You probably even saw my nephew working at Starbucks. And yes, cast members were cranky. Our waitress at the German restaurant said people had been horrible to them for the past two weeks. 15 hour drive one way, but worth it! °o°

Disney! Been going every few years since before they built Epcot. People thought I was cray-cray. “Why bother? They’ll never remember it.” (my eldest was about 4 at the time). Well, perhaps she doesn’t remember that visit, except from pictures, but damn, I wouldn’t give up MY memory of her meeting Minnie Mouse for the world! Good tips, BTW. While the kids are relatively young, take them out of school to go in September, early December, or early May – almost no one there.
